We are a research group based in Toronto, Canada at the University of Toronto, The Hospital for Sick Children.
We are dedicated to improving the health of children worldwide through our research on iron deficiency
and other micronutrient deficiencies in children. Micronutrient deficiencies, especially deficiencies of iron,
vitamin A and iodine have been identified by the World Health Organization and UNICEF as a ‘health priority’.
To help alleviate this serious public health problem, we have developed micronutrient supplement called “Supplefer Sprinkles ”, also known as "Iron Sprinkles".
